Webinar: Renting a Home in Flanders (date TBC)

IMPORTANT: The date will be communicated later.

What do you need to know when renting a flat or house in Limburg? During this online info session we will cover the basic need-to-knows about renting.

It can be a challenge to find a new home when you first arrive in Limburg. The system may be different than your last country of residence and the process can be overwhelming at first. BUT don’t worry, we are here to help!

During the webinar, a local Real Estate agent will cover all the basics about renting, such as:

  • how to search for properties
  • the role of real estate agents in Belgium
  • different types of insurances
  • rental deposits
  • bank visits
  • dispuits
  • and much more

The presentation will last about 1 hour and we will foresee 30 minutes for questions at the end. Everything will be in English

Practical:

  • This event is orginally named “renting a home in Leuven”, but since Leuven (or province of Flemish Brabant) is bordering Limburg, the addressed topics also apply to our region.
  • This event will be organised by the partner organisation International House Leuven, they take care of the organisation and registration of data/interested participants.
